Why I you like android?

Why do android people like android? Why not Apple? I'm very curious, as I'm an apple fanboy myself.

I prefer Android over Apple and Windows Phones.

Apple designs all their devices so that only they can repair and will make it beyond difficult for anyone to try to solve their own issues without having to send it in and pay an unnecessary fee. Apple is very money hungry.

Ehh, I recently got my first smart phone, the Samsung Galaxy S II, I find it to be a pretty sweet phone. It's an android and I just wanted an upgrade - I find the OS to be very smooth.
